‘SPECTRUM #0:’ ADVANCE COMIC BOOK REVIEW

Spectrum #0 is the opening salvo of a new comic book series, brought to us by Automatic Publishing, which brings the plot of the fictional show, Spectrum,  (from Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion’s web series, Con Man) alive.  It’s a FCBD title that will be available at a comic book store near you this Saturday, May 7.

It’s filled with Firefly-esque goodness.  My review for Fanbase Press here.

Lots of Little Patterns

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been focused almost entirely on producing small cross-stitch patterns for a project “to be announced soon.”  I’m super excited and a little bit panicked, but in a totally good, constructive way.  You’ve seen many of these designs as works in progress, and yesterday I spent some time finishing them up and taking some pictures.

Shipbuilding on NyQuil

I’ve been absent from this blog and stitching in general for a few days, in the throws of an early summer cold and the NyQuil I’ve been consuming in its wake.  I did manage to do a little shiny shipbuilding though.  It’ll always make you feel better…
